How to Submit a Manuscript

You’ve worked long and hard to complete your manuscript. Maybe you’ve already tried the frustrating traditional publishing route. Perhaps you’ve scoured the sites of subsidy or print-on-demand publishers. If you’re tired of the confusion and the headaches, try us. We can help make the publishing process smooth and worry-free. And in the end, you’ll hold in your hand your book exactly as you envisioned it.

The first step is to submit your manuscript. Our evaluation is completely free. Our staff will carefully review your manuscript and, at no cost to you, you will receive our professional feedback. And if we feel your manuscript is a good match for Ivy House, we will provide an estimate for making your dream come true.

Not every manuscript meets our standard of excellence, but we will fully and completely evaluate your work for content and commercial viability. We’ll give you honest, professional feedback and an indication of our interest in offering an official Publishing Agreement.

Ready to begin our simple online submission process? Click the link below to download and print the PDF version of our Manuscript Submission Form to send your manuscript via mail. If you’d like to submit your manuscript online, scroll down further, fill out the required information in our Online Submission Form, and upload your file.

If you’d like to discuss your options further before submitting your manuscript, please visit our Contact Us page.

Please note that we only offer evaluations for completed manuscripts. While some publishers prefer you first submit a sample, we find that we are better able to accurately assess your manuscript and its needs when we put ourselves in a reader’s mindset and read from beginning to end. If your manuscript is not quite finished yet but you have questions for us, please contact us via phone or e-mail.
