About The Author: Stephanie Shanklin
Stephanie Shanklin was raised in Irvington, NJ. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Community Planning from Rutgers University, Camden and a master’s degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickson University. She is currently the Assistant Director of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program at her alma mater, Rutgers University, Camden. Though Shanklin has enjoyed crafting poetry for many years, this is her first published collection. She currently writes from her home in South Harrison, New Jersey, where she celebrates each day with her husband, Scott, and two children.
